7/13/13 North American BJJ Tournament Training - Day 5

Today, I was training at the 24 Hour Fitness gym in the City of Industry. Luckily, I had all the weights to myself. I worked on my legs, explosiveness, and grip strength. Workout was for 50 minutes.

Workout: 

Barbell Squats- Went up to 565lbs for 2 reps
Front Squats- Went up to 375lbs for 1 rep
Barbell Jump Squats - 135lbs for 10 reps, 225lbs for 10 reps, 275lbs for 3 reps, 315lbs for 1 rep
Dumbbell Snatches (No Straps)- 65lbs for 10 reps, 90lbs for 10 reps, and 120lbs for 5 reps
Scramble Grip Trainers Cable Rows- Went up to 265lbs for 10 reps
Scramble Grip Trainers Dumbbell Curls- 40lbs for 10 reps and 60lbs for 10 reps
Hammer Curls- 80lbs for 10 reps and 100lbs for 10 reps
90lb Plate Pinch Hand Pass- 3 sets for 10 reps each hand
Scramble Grip Trainers Bodyweight holds- 3 sets- 30 seconds
Core Work - 5 minutes
