Workout:
Deadlifts- Went up to 565lbs for 2 reps - No Belt with Straps
Deadlifts with Mini-Bands- 425lbs + Mini Bands - 5 sets- 3 reps - No Belt, Double Overhand Grip
Bench Press- Went up to 275lbs, 295lbs, and 315lbs for 2 reps, 295lbs for 3 reps, and 275lbs for 10 reps (This was the highlight of my day and man I was pumped after this.)
Machine Pulldowns with 4orce Grips- Went up to 3 sets - 270lbs for 8 reps
Fat Man Pull Ups on TRX with 4orce Grips- 3 sets- 12 reps - Held for a couple seconds at the top on each rep. Last rep, I held on for additional 20 seconds at the top.
Scarecrows on TRX with 4orce Grips- 3 sets- 10 reps
My second workout was at the Force Balance BJJ/ Paragon Burbank gym. I took the Advance BJJ class. We worked on the technical stand up takedown from the seated position. After that, we worked on several half guard passes and the samurai roll. I was class that my instructor went over this, because these are passes that I'm trying to work on during the live rolls and need some fine tuning on my technique.
