Today, I worked out twice. My first workout was at the 24 Hour Fitness gym in Burbank. Workout was for 40 minutes.
I got hit on at the gym by one of the employees. She is a really good looking pinay. When I was deadlifting, she asked if my back or the bar would break. I told her that my core is strong, the bar would break for sure, if I went heavy today.
Deadlifts - 8 sets - 455lbs for 2 reps (30 seconds rest between sets)
Bench Press- Went up to 225lbs for 10 reps, 275lbs and 295lbs for 2 reps, 315lbs for 3 reps, and 280lbs for 10 reps
Incline Press Machine- 180lbs, 270lbs, and 360lbs for 10 reps, and 410lbs for 8 reps
Side Handle Deadlifts with 4orce Grips- 270lbs for 10 reps, 360lbs for 5 reps, and 410lbs for 2 reps
Side Handle Deadlifts- 540lbs for 5 reps, 720lbs and 830lbs (Used Belt) for 2 reps (No Straps)
My second workout was at the Force Balance BJJ/Paragon Burbank gym. I did some of the warm ups. We went over a couple single leg set ups and takedowns. Also, a hip toss was involved. I got to practice the single leg stuf, but I was worried about my ribs, so I didn't get taken down nor did I do the hip toss.
For the ground work, we went over various finishes from knee on belly. The set ups and finishes were for the far side arm bar and a secret technique that I won't mention here. Also, we went over positioning on the knee on belly. After class, I helped out my friend and worked on some finishing moves.
I wasn't too engage in class, since I'm oncall at work and I was helping out a co-worker with his change. I was pretty much eyeing my phone and laptop the whole time. Overall, I learned a couple of things on keeping the transition in better control from the knee on belly to far side arm bar. Also, I learned
