Today, I worked out twice. My first workout was at the 24 Hour Fitness gym in Burbank.
Warm Up: Dumbbell Snatches- 45lbs, 70lbs, and 95lbs for 10 reps on each hand Workout: Push Press- Went up to 280lbs and 300lbs for 2 reps Power Cleans- Went up to 230lbs and 245lbs for 2 reps Barbell Rows- 245lbs for 10 reps, and 315lbs and 335lbs for 6 reps Super Set- Supinated Horizontal Rows and Abdominal Fall Outs on TRX- 20 reps + 10 reps, 12 reps + 10 reps, and 10 reps + 10 reps After that, I was training at the Force Balance BJJ/ Paragon Burbank gym. Tonight, our guest instructor was Paragon Black Belt, Milton Bastos. I did the warm ups, which consisted of BJJ movements for 20 minutes. Tonight, he went over several X-Guard passes. The first pass is very similar to the Toreando pass, except this was for X-Guard. The next two passes went in sequence, in which the first pass would get us to mount or side control to the far siide and the our pass would require us to fall to the side and hold on to the opponent's pant leg to get to the near side. We got a lot of reps in for each pass. After class, I did some core work, some plyometric work, and some stretching done. My ribs are feeling better. I was
