Barbell Squats- Went up to 635lbs- 2 reps- Belt and Knee Sleeve
Front Squats- Went up to 405lbs- 1 rep- Beltless
T-Bar Rows (Pronated Grip)- Went up to 3 sets- 250lbs- 6 reps
T-Bar Rows (Neutral Grip)- Went up to 3 sets- 225lbs- 6 reps
My second workout was at the Force Balance BJJ/ Paragon Burbank gym. We drilled on butterfly passes to side control, full mount, and to a transition to an armbar. We did live drills from the butterfly position. I skipped the rolling due to my shoulder, but at least I got some reps in.
After class, I worked on some shoulder rehab and mobility and did some core work for
10 minutes. I'm not taking a break from training from this point on, whether I'm working on my strength and conditioning, mobility, or technique. I'm getting back my groove, despite my injury. Anyhow, my experience, strength, power, and explosiveness will get me over the top. Also, I have my dad looking over me. Game on!!!
