For the beginner BJJ class, today's lesson and drills were on the back take to RNC and chupacabra choke from side control. I got a lot of reps in for each drill. After that, we did a live drill, starting from the turtle position. After that, we did the cool down, which consisted of core work and stretching.
After that for the advance class, we worked on a sacrifice throw and a arm bar transition after the throw. I got a lot of reps in for each drill. Then, we did a live drill from full guard. I got a lot of time in there as well.
My knee is feeling a lot better. My movement and stability is stronger now. I'm hoping to get some takedowns for this tournament and I'm looking to finish my opponents with different submissions, instead of my go to moves. As far as my sweeps, I'm working them from Z Guard and X Guard. I'm transitioning about of the half guard to expand my guard game.
