Tonight, I was at the Gracie Barra West Covina gym. We worked on the back take from the turtle position to the RNC, Short Choke, and Lapel Choke with a Half Nelson. After that, we did a live drill from the turtle position. Then, I got to roll for one round with a brown belt. Between breaks, I did some squats to help out strengthen my legs and get some blood to my knee.
My movement is getting better. It's more fluid. I worked mostly on my defense and getting my hooks in when taking the back. I was able to get reversals from different positions and getting myself out of bad positions.
