Band Pull Aparts on Blue Tubing on 3 Different Angles (Horizontal, 45 degree angle, and Overhead)- 3 sets- 15 reps for each angle
Face Pulls on Blue Tubing- 3 sets- 15 reps
Barbell Jump Squats- 5 sets- 45lbs- 6 reps
Barbell Plyometric Lunges- 3 sets- 6 reps
After the workout, I did the warm ups in class, which consisted of some stretching, jogging, and basic BJJ movements. Today's lessons were side control escapes to butterfly guard to arm drags to either a back take to collar choke or RNC or a set up to mount after the initial arm drag. I got a lot of reps in for each of the transitions and I got a lot of small details to refine my movements.
I came out healthy and I learned a lot. I feel that my Jiu Jitsu is getting better with all the reps and finer details in my movement. I just need to stay healthy at this point before competition. I'm sure that I'll be ready by then.
