Deadlifts- Went up to 600lbs- 1 rep and 550lbs- 3 reps- Beltless and Straps
Push Press- Went up to 250lbs, 275lbs, 295lbs, and 315lbs- 1 rep
My second workout was at the Tsunami BJJ gym in Torrance. We drilled the same sequences from Monday, but at the end of last night's workout, I got to work on the modified arm bar from side control as an added bonus. I get to side control a lot, and I finish with the kimura and I pair it up with the arm bar with a high percentage to finish and to get to that position. After yesterday, I think I can get this version of the arm bar a lot too. It's more of a triceps crush/slicer than anything else, but I will work on it more tonight during live roll when I get the chance.
