This week was rough in getting any training in after Monday's session. I was planning to workout at least on Thursday morning and Friday evening, but I had to take care of my son on Thursday before going to work, since there was a power outage at this school and Friday, I was just spent from the 2 hour commute home from work and had less than 5 hours of sleep that day. I made it up for today by getting two workouts in. Luckily, my son didn't get kicked out of the kids club for excessive crying, so I was able to get some Jiu Jitsu training in. Thank god.
My 1st workout in the morning was at the UFC Rosemead gym. I took the Gi class. We worked on Spider guard drills. I did partial of the warm ups, which was some core work for 5 sets of 30 reps of different core exercises, plank for probably about a minute, some static and dynamic stretching. After the drills, I got to work on live drills on passing the spider guard and defending from the spider guard for about 5 minute rounds with rotating partners.
After that, I got some bench work in.
Bench Press - 45lbs, 135lbs, 185lbs, 235lbs, and 280lbs - 10 reps, and 3 sets - 320lbs - 6 reps
Pause Bench - 3 sets - 285lbs - 3 reps
My second workout was at the 24 Hour Fitness gym in the City of Industry. The workout was after 10PM. I had to wait until my son and wife were asleep before I can start the workout.
Deadlifts - 225lbs, 315lbs, 405lbs, 485lbs, and 545lbs - 6 reps
Box Squats - 135lbs, 225lbs, 315lbs, 405lbs, and 455lbs - 6 reps
Cable Rows + Scramble Grip Trainers - 165lbs, 225lbs, 285lbs, and 2 sets - 305lbs - 10 reps
Hoist T-Bar Rows + Fat Gripz - 90lbs, 180lbs, and 3 sets - 225lbs - 10 reps
Leg Raises with Fat Gripz - 3 sets - 20 reps
Stretching - 5 minutes
