3/3/14 Workout:
Barbell Power Snatches- Went up to 190lbs- 1 rep
Barbell Power Cleans- Went up to 250lbs- 1 rep
Thick Bar Pull Ups- 3 sets- 6 reps
Thick Bar One Arm Bodyweight Hangs- 2 sets- 10 seconds for each side
After that, I was training at the Tsunami BJJ gym in Torrance. Worked on Spider Guard set ups and control to Spider Guard sweeps. I got to roll for about 20 mins for 2 rounds after drilling.
3/4/14 Workout:
I was training at the Versus Fitness and Martial Arts gym in Montebello. I was really late to class and missed all the drilling. I got to do live drills from close guard for 30 minutes. I was able to pass most of the guys' guards at will and I was able to sweep several of the times when I was on bottom. I got to work on a lot of half guard and deep half guard sweeps.
3/5/14 Workout:
Barbell Squats- Went up to 5 sets- 405lbs- 5 reps
3" Deficit Deadlifts- Went up to 605lbs- 3 reps
Barbell Push Press- Went up to 315lbs- 1 rep
After that, I was training at the Tsunami BJJ gym in Torrance. I got to work on a continuation from Monday. A lot of work on a couple Spider Guard sweeps to full mount and set up to submissions to the Arm Bar and Triangle.
