Squats- I went up to 600lbs- 2 reps- Belt and Knee Sleeve
Jiu Jitsu class- 45 minutes
Bench Press- Went up to 335lbs, 340lbs, and 345lbs- 1 rep, and 315lbs- 3 reps
2" Thick Bar Pull Ups- 3 sets- 6 reps
For the Jiu Jitsu class, I did the warm ups, which consisted of BJJ movements and Yoga Stretches. The drills for the day were variations of the granby rolls and peak out from turtle. I got to rep on each move. It was kind of discouraging for me to do that move, since that's the move I used at the Gracie Nationals a couple of years ago to get out from the turtle position and I ended up dislocating my shoulder. I try to avoid it as much as possible, but I knew at some point, that I have to do it again. My shoulder was fine afterwards, so I'll start working on improving my granby.
