Today, I was training during lunch time at Rodrigo Freitas BJJ in Hawthorne. I was late to class and I miss the first move of the day. I got to drill on the second move from open guard recovery. It was more recovering from side control to back to full guard. I would prefer recovering to half guard since I have big legs and my flexibility doesn't allow me with ease to get to full guard.
After that, I got to drill for two rounds. One round of passing open guard while holding on to balls in each hand and then defending and recovering from open guard while holding on to a pair of balls. I started to feel pain in my knee, so I stopped afterwards. I guess I'll wait a couple of more days to recover. I did some stretching afterwards and took notice on how others were moving. I'm just glad that I was able to get to the mats.
