Yesterday's training was at the Rodrigo Freitas BJJ gym in Hawthorne. I went during lunch time. I got to work on a full guard transition to a cross collar choke and then to an arm bar. Also, we worked on a third transition off from the arm bar position when being stacked by the opponent to go under the person to get on top to finish the arm bar from that position. I got a lot of reps in for each move.
Then, I got to do some live drills from both the top and bottom position of the full guard for 4 rounds. After that, I got to roll for one full round. My knee held up fine. I didn't wear my knee sleeve, but I different feel comfortable enough to use explosive moves. I will wait another week before doing so. I was playing the patient and slow game, so that helped out a lot.
