Powerlifting Training 9/14/18 - Bench Day

Yesterday's training was a short session, since it was during lunch time. I was taking care of the kids for most of the day in the afternoon to evening, so I knew I wasn't going to be able to get a 2nd session in. I got all of the lifts that I wanted and the conditioning was definitely there. I feel confident that if I have a fourth attempt, I would be able to do it, but I should be able to hit all of my attempts on the bench. I don't see myself taking big jumps at the meet.

Warm Up

Barbell Bench Press - 45lbs, 135lbs, and 225lbs - 10 reps, 280lbs - 5 reps

Workout

Barbell Bench Press - 4 sets - 320lbs - 2 reps - 2 minutes rest between each set
Dumbbell Bench Press - 4 sets - 240lbs - 10 reps - 2 minutes rest between each set
Hoist Pulldown Machine (Pronated Grip) - 4 sets - 345lbs - 10 reps - 1 minute rest between each set
